7 Sep 07 - à la Bastille

We rose nice and early on a beautiful sunday morning to hike up to the Bastille - The Place to take in an unrivalled view of Grenoble. A couple of people we met in the corridors of Condillac had invited us to go along with them. Most are international students and only ONE out of the group of more than 10 was french!

The River Isère that flows thru Grenoble

All set!

We had a great time getting to know each other and each other's cultures. There were people from places like Poland, Chile, Tunisia and Brazil (all which to me are countries which are simply exotic!)

The hike up was
fatigant but the company and the panoramic views of the city and the neighbouring mountains dispelled the weariness in my then jelly-like legs.

Stunning view midway

Shagged man totally needed this break!

Met Letch, Lynn and the rest of the Rabotians (those that live in the Residence Rabot - near the Bastille) at the top and Letch found new eye candy hehe.

Moi, Letch, Auré and Andi

At the top! Finally

Happy people
